Projected Plan

Our Goals & Objectives...

Addressing the issue of road accidents in our country calls for both behavioral and attitude change among all road users as nearly 90% of all accidents are due to human error. This therefore calls for concerted efforts to reign in road accidents as it is a hindrance to the country’s growth and development.

Key Pointers
  • Educate road users on road safety and discipline.

  • Conceive, develop and implement programs and courses of action designed to improve road safety.

  • Creating collaborations with key stakeholders that include governmental and non-governmental agencies towards enhanced road safety campaigns.

  • Offering road-accident survivors a second chance by giving them support towards self-reliance, after serious injuries affecting life thereafter.

  • Offering the necessary support to families and dependents of road crash victims via the Foundation.

The long-term objectives of Petanns Usalama Foundation, being a Road Safety Foundation are to:

  • Raising awareness and understanding on the importance of a reliable road infrastructure at all levels that caters for motorists, cyclists and pedestrians alike.

  • Proposing strategies and goals that the government and road agencies need to pursue in enhancing safety to our roads.

  • Publicizing relevant information on road safety in the right platforms, both online and offline.

  • Encouraging and assisting students in all levels of education to form Road Safety Clubs to nurture the road safety ideas at a young age

  • Collaborating with relevant stakeholders in the campaigns on road safety and in offering support to victims

  • Seeking donors and partners to fund road safety interventions and support.
